Gamify it!

I'm a notorious nerd. Computer games were always a huge part of my life, especially Role Playing Games (RPGs). I will tell you a small secret that totally helped me improve my life. You can apply all you've learned in RPGs in real world (IRL). Arguably, real world is an RPG. Gamify it!

Consider your body equivalent to your game avatar. Keep it stylish and fit. The same strategies you use to improve your stats in games can be used to improve your stats IRL. Do resistance training to improve your strength and constitution. Do cardio to improve your stamina. Read books to increase your knowledge, intelligence and wisdom. Talk to people to improve your charisma.

Want to learn a new skill? Grind it like you would in World of Warcraft. Repetition and persistence are the keys, starting from the simplest tasks and shortest times and progressing to more advanced and longer sessions until you reach total mastery.

Keep track of your skills and their levels as if you had a mental "character sheet". It would improve your confidence in the "know thyself" spirit. Imagine a confidence of someone with multiple skill masteries. That can be you.

Collect experience points. Seek exotic adventures and go on crazy quests for epic rewards. Acquire currency to get better gear to get even better value from your newly improved skills. Drink the magical potions and see what new spells that unlocks.

Collect all the power and optimize your build for the end game. Save the world. Break the game. Nerds have won the cultural war - no one is better prepared for the real life than we are. Use this for your benefit.

Oh and don't forget - your attention is like a premium currency for subscribers - you can get all kinds of boons with it. Leverage it!
